Cookie Policy

We keep cookies to a minimum: one strictly-necessary session cookie, plus two first-party cookies on the store that attribute a purchase to the xentropy link that brought you there. We set no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Page analytics are cookieless (aggregate counts only — no identifier is stored on your device for them).

Cookies we set

• xen_session — a signed, HttpOnly session cookie set after you sign in via a magic link. It keeps you logged in so you can access your library and downloads. It expires after 30 days (or when you log out). It contains no advertising or tracking data. Because it is essential to provide a service you actively requested, it is exempt from consent under the ePrivacy rules.
• xen_aid — a random, first-party identifier set on the store (store.xentropy.ai) so we can tell which of our own posts or links a purchase came from. It is HttpOnly, is never shared with third parties, does not follow you across other sites, and expires after 12 months.
• xen_attr — records the first xentropy campaign link you arrived from (source, medium, campaign). Same properties as xen_aid: first-party, HttpOnly, no cross-site tracking, 12-month lifetime.

Third parties

Checkout is hosted by Polar (our Merchant of Record); any cookies during checkout are governed by Polar's and Stripe's own policies on their domains.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but blocking xen_session will prevent you from staying signed in. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
